Medicaid Application Assistance
The Patient Accounting Department has Financial Counselors who have obtained their Certification Application Counselor (CAC) certifications. As part of the Affordable Care Act, this qualifies the financial counselors to assist our community with enrollment through New York State’s health exchange. A Financial Counselor can visit while you are in the hospital or you may schedule an appointment with the financial counselor after discharge. Our staff will work on your behalf to obtain the necessary benefits.
